Georgia Lima, LMT
Specialties: Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point and Active Isolated Stretching
Superhero Name: “Captain Hermit” because she likes hanging out at home (oops, we’re not supposed to actually call her that)
For more than 20 years, Georgia Lima, LMT, has been helping people feel better. She has her own special style that begins with a little bit of relaxation technique to start off the session. Once her client is relaxed, she focuses on whatever problem brought them in that day, using a blend of the modalities she has learned over the years to address specific issues. One of her specialties is neck work—something people who sit at computers all day really need.
Bringing a nurturing quality to her work, she truly believes in the power of touch and the wisdom of the body to heal itself when it is respected and cared for.
About Georgia: Georgia loves learning, and is always studying new ways to heal the body—whether with massage or food or something else. She claims to be a hermit, but we don’t really believe her (she always comes out when we invite her). She also likes moving her body, walking, doing yoga, stretching. And she loves cooking.
