Oh yeah, that’s Rejuvenations Massage Therapy’s owner Rick — one of our own favorite Hometown Heroes. This is back in his Army days when he was a helicopter crew chief in Germany (Army 501st Aviation Battalion Combat).
Gotta be honest, our staff can’t believe he was ever that young. Or that he had a mustache. Or that he was even in the Army. That doesn’t seem like a very massage therapist kind of thing, does it?
Except it is, really.
So is being an EMT, another role Rick took on for a while when he lived in New England.
Rick has always been a protector, caretaker, and public servant. Looking out for those around him is just who he is. It’s who ALL the massage therapists at Rejuvenations are.
As an Army vet and a former EMT, giving back to those who protect and serve has always been a priority. We usually do that by offering discounts on Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day, and donating to organizations that support public servants.
You know what? That’s just not enough.
So this year Rick decided to create the Hometown Heroes program and every single member of our staff said YES! Everyone on staff has a loved one in the Military or in public service of some form. Of course, we all want to give back!
Now we need YOUR help: Do you know a public servant in the Herndon, Reston, Fairfax County area who would love a great massage? Forward this blog or just tell them to book an appointment. We look forward to filling our appointment slots with these amazing people who do so much for all of us.
