What are your hours?
We’re open 7 days a week. Our hours are:
> Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
> Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
> Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (back to top)

What’s the best way to schedule my appointment?
We offer easy-to-use on-line scheduling, which makes it easy for you to book. Click here to make your appointment. You may also call to set up an appointment: 703-437-9059. (back to top)

What payment options do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. (back to top)

How much should I tip the therapist?
A 15% to 20% tip is standard in the industry—if you are pleased with the services. However, there is no requirement to tip your therapist, and if you choose to tip, the amount is completely up to you. (back to top)

Can I put my tip on my credit card?
Please plan to bring cash or a personal check if you wish to tip: We can not put tips on your credit card payment. (back to top)

Do I need to arrive early for my appointment?
If this is your first visit, please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow enough time to fill out the new client forms. (back to top)

What if I’m running late?
If you’re running late, please call ahead to let us know. You will be given as much of your scheduled time as the therapist’s schedule can permit, though treatment times may be shortened as needed. (back to top)

What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you can not make your appointment, please cancel as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to fill that time slot. Our policy is to charge the full session rate if we receive less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation. (back to top)

What happens in case of bad weather?
In case inclement weather, please call to determine whether the office is open. School cancellations do not necessarily coincide with the closing of the office. If we must cancel your appointment due to inclement weather, we will reschedule your session, and the normal cancellation policy will not apply. (back to top)

Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely. What better way to show your friends and family that you care than with the gift of wellness. Gift certificates are available for all occasions. You may drop into the office to pick one up, or click here to order it on-line. (back to top)

Why don’t you accept Spa Finder and Salon and Spa Wish gift certificates?
The service charge for accepting Spa Finder and Salon and Spa Wish (which are owned by the same company) is extremely high and we lose money every time we redeem one of the gift certificates. We can not continue to operate at that level of loss. (back to top)

Do you offer any discount packages?
Yes. Our Rewards Program is a pre-paid package offering a 10% discount on services. Pre-pay $499, and we’ll take 10% off your services. You can replenish your rewards card as often as you like. You may use the card for yourself, family, friends, and colleagues. (back to top)

If I can’t use up my package or my gift certificate, can I get a refund?
No. All prepaid packages and gift certificates are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your package balance or gift certificate to a family member or friend. (back to top)

Do you have a minimum age requirement?
Yes. Because of the deep tissue, therapeutic techniques we use, 12 is the minimum age for a massage. For children 18 years and younger, a parent must be present during the massage. (back to top)

Should I refer my friends and family?
Yes, referrals are an important part of our business. We appreciate the trust you put in us, and promise to take care of your friends and family as well as we take care of you. (back to top)

What is the difference between a masseuse and a massage therapist?
Many clients wonder why we refer to ourselves as massage therapists. After all, the definition of “masseuse” is “a woman who practices massage.” (a man who practices massage is a “masseur.”) However, in this country, the word “masseuse” is often used as a euphemism for “prostitute.” Therefore, massage professionals rarely use the term to describe their services. Can I let my child hand out in the massage room while I get a massage
It is our policy not to allow children to be in the massage room with you while you get a massage. There are a few reasons for this. First, we provide a quiet and serene atmosphere that allows our clients to get the most benefit from their massage. If children are running up and down the halls, it is very disruptive. Second, we know that most children can not sit quietly in a dark room for an hour or more—anyone who has a child knows this. Even if the child has something to entertain them, they will get restless and want their parent’s attention. This disrupts the massage. And because the parent is getting a therapeutic treatment, they can not focus on the child. That essentially means that the massage therapist also becomes a babysitter for that time, which can diminish the quality of the massage. For those reasons, we ask that you please leave your children at home.
